Pride, Narcissism and Hurry: Which one is it for you?

I noticed all three of these in myself last week.

I believed a quote by Pope Leo XIV that wasn’t true and saved it for a repost later.

Seeing that I took the bait, the algorithm served me a homily by the new head of the Vatican that kept me engaged. Predictably, I reshared on multiple platforms and a newsletter.

Now with the hook firmly in place and the cookies tracking me around the internet, the algorithm reeled me in with an AI generated video of the new Pope from Chi-Town rebuking Catholic convert and one of the last people to see Pope Francis before he passed away – Vice President JD Vance. I viewed it, reposted and was prepping a post to say, “finally! Somebody said it!”
