His honesty about anger, rage, grief, sadness, pain and his desperate desire to be kind in a world that is cruel and unrelenting resonated with me in ways things haven’t in a while. His vulnerability left me wanting to feel seen, known and be fiercely kind in a world that seems familiar with cruelty – and committed to it. His next book is on my “wish list” and his old ones are in my cart.
