Every year for close to a decade, I remember crowding 75 students into a room meant for 50 to learn about prayer. On a big post-it, I asked them what questions they had and began to write their answers. Every year, the questions were the same:

• How do I do it?

• What if God answers?

• What if He doesn’t?

• How do I know it’s Him?
