I was not discipled to be a Dad. I was told entrepreneurs were amazing, making money and giving it away for God was the best way to be a Christian and being missional was outside of my family – not inside it.
So as I reflect on hitting this target last weekend at Frost Valley YMCA Camp, I am reminded that just because I didn’t learn something when I was a kid doesn’t mean I can’t learn it now. And just because my family held a habit, tradition or narrative, that doesn’t mean I can’t change or be different.
